| Dear Edi,
I hope you had a fabulous summer. Candace and I are just back from vacation - a lovely week at Lake Cazenovia in upstate New York - and I'm feeling ready to get at the new semester.
But I'm pausing long enough to appreciate how a week of focused and relaxed attention can nourish a relationship. Gone is the hard edge in my voice, the lurking sense of being alone together. In its place a deep appreciation for this person I married.
As you plan your schedule for the fall, I invite you to build in times to bring a focused and relaxed attention to your beloved. Here are three ways to do it, including a partner yoga series I'm offering through the Wright Tavern Center.

| Explore joyful wedding |
 |
joyful wedding is a tiny book that points you to big love. It includes questions for reflection and two audio CDs with beautiful experience to explore. It's great even if you've already had your wedding.

| Attend Yoga Date Nights |
|
|
With gentle (and playful) individual & partner yoga, we'll relax into our bodies,
remember the love in our hearts, and reconnect to our primary beloveds. All couples, gay and straight, married and unmarried, welcome.

| Retreat to Kripalu |
|
Any visit to Kripalu will enliven your love. In particular, consider a weekend with Rich and Antra Borofsky and their workshop Being Together, Sept 21-23.

|
And, to bring a little relaxed and focused attention to yourself, see the fall yoga schedule, including the new Restorative Yoga class on Wednesday evenings.
Namaste,
